🔤 Word Search

Build a word search from AP Psychology key terms. Drag across the letters to circle a word, or print the puzzle (and a separate answer key) as a handout. Spaces, hyphens, and punctuation are removed in the grid, so "Long-Term Potentiation" is hidden as LONGTERMPOTENTIATION.
Tip: longer terms need more room, so a bigger grid unlocks more vocabulary. If a topic shows only a few usable words, try a larger grid size.

💡 Getting the Most Out of Word Search

Word searches pull from the same term bank as our Flashcards and Glossary, so each puzzle doubles as vocabulary review. For the most benefit, keep the word list on Definitions (the default): you have to recall the term from its definition first, and only then hunt for it in the grid, which is much stronger practice than matching words you can already see. Switch to the plain term list for an easier warm-up. Start with a single topic while you are learning it, then move to a whole unit as the exam approaches. Teachers can print the puzzle and a separate answer key for a quick warm-up or sub-plan handout.
